Georgetown Piano Teacher Gets Award

"Marlene Sampaio of Marlene Sampaio's Music Studio received an iSCORE Teaching Award at The Royal Conservatory of Music Summer Summit in Toronto, Ontario, on  Saturday, July 12th, 2014. The award was presented by Dr. Rena Upitis Professor of Arts Education from Queen's University. iSCORE is a web-based tool designed to support students and teachers learning together in studio music settings. Marlene was recognized for her outstanding efforts to integrate iSCORE into her teaching practice. Marlene has been teaching piano in Georgetown since 2006 and has maintained a full-time home studio teaching students from Georgetown, Brampton, Acton and Caledon.
